CLIENT SERVER USE OF Fiduciary Accounting for Professionals! Share your data!

Want to connect multiple users to the same data?  If your office has a local area network, which most do these days, you might want to consider the use of our method for sharing data. When configured, you will be able to concurrently update and read your data files between participating workstations. Your data can also be backed up by your routine network backup procedures.

To implement a shared application, you must have a LAN network in your office with a file server. A peer-to-peer network is also acceptable. Each user must be able to see the file drive in Explorer with a disk drive such as D: or E: etc. and have full access rights (including delete) to the location on the server where the shared data files exist.

Additional System Requirements to run multi-user programs on network media:

  1. 200 MB on a shared server drive for our data file
  2. Laser-compatible or ink-jet printer
  3. pointing device, trackball, mouse, pad, etc
  4. CD-ROM or DVD drive on each PC
  5. Microsoft Office 2003 or above
  6. Any network server drive accessible by client machines, either as mapped drive (D:, E:, etc.) or by universal naming convention (ex.\\dir1\subdir1\file)

In order to use this feature you will need at least 2 registered licenses to Fiduciary Accounting for Professionals. You will need to purchase the multi-user version or a second single-user  if you have only one license.

Take advantage of our 3-licenses-for-the-price-of-2 promotion.

Note: The Microsoft Windows Office software must reside on each individual PC, not on a LAN.

Note: You can not run our software on a CITRIX system or any portion of our client piece on a network. It must run from the C: drive of your PC.
